While this edition represents a comprehensive update of the site and essentially all of its pages, I've decided to keep the same "look and feel" that I've had since July 2000. I've found the drop down menus very handy and I enjoy the different pictures that come up on the main page. More than that, I hate web sites that change all the time. I want to go into my grocery store and find things in the same places each time I shop. The web should be the same.
So what's new? Well, I've added many more travel pictures. There are now close to 100 and they include some of my favorite pictures from Europe to the collection of those from America. All of the interior pages have been updated to reflect the kind of browsing that I do when I want to relax (the right drop down) or when I have work to do (the left drop down). The five links at the bottom of the page have been expanded. As always, I'm working to make improvements.
Usually I access these pages with Firefox or Camino using Mac OS X, so the pages naturally are optimized for it. However, I have tried to make everything on the site compatable with whatever you are using. All the work is done on a Powerbook G4. Pages were originally hand-coded with BBEdit, some of work was done with the source editor on OnmiWeb, and recently I've switched to GoLive by Adobe. Some pictures were scanned with a UMAX Astra 2000U, the rest were done with a Canon LiDE or have been digital since I took them.. Please send comments or questions to the address below. We'd love to hear from you.
